Can it really make your hair shinier?

Rinsing hair with cold water can certainly be refreshing and it might work for some but a scientifically proven way to make the cuticle smooth is to use a good conditioner. Speak to your Stylist at David Masters Salon who will be happy to advise you on

VERDICT. There is no definitive scientific evidence to support rinsing your hair in cold water will make it shinier but on a hot day, it can certainly be refreshing. Some people believe a cold rinse helps to lock in moisture and prevent frizz. Ideally use a lukewarm rinse with moisturising masks, anti-frizz creams or serums and a hair type specific shampoo to amplify the results.
